On the 14th, Il Ponte will be hosting a “dinner under the stars” complete with your own cabana and wine for LKR 20,000 net per couple or a starless four-course set menu option for LKR 10,000 net per couple.

If you are looking for something a little less expensive but still romantic, The Veranda at Galle Face Hotel would be great choice with per person cost of LKR 4,000 including a glass of wine and of course a free stargazing experience along with the sound of waves. What more do you want this Valentine’s?

If you want to stay indoors however, with these erratic weather patterns, head to the Ocean at the Kingsbury, which never fails to disappoint! They have put together a special Valentine’s seafood set menu and is priced at price LKR 4,900 net per person. However, if seafood is not your calling, the Harbour Court has an international buffet and the dinner for two costs approximately LKR 9,000 excluding drinks.

If you are in search of something more oriental, head to the Taj Samudra as Chef Wang has whizzed up some great Chinese food at the Golden Dragon and priced at LKR 4,000 net per person.
