Ahsoka Tano searches for Grand Admiral Thrawn, a Chiss military leader who was last seen in the animated series Star Wars Rebels, five years after the events of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.
The Characters
The series will also feature Anakin Skywalker, Sabine Wren, and Gar Saxon, among other Star Wars characters. Skywalker is Ahsoka Tano’s former master, who turned to the dark side and became Darth Vader. Wren is a Mandalorian warrior who was a member of the Ghost crew in Star Wars Rebels. Saxon is a Mandalorian warrior who served the Galactic Empire.
The Creative Team
Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau created the series and are also executive producers. Filoni is a longtime Star Wars fan and animator who has worked on several Star Wars projects, including The Clone Wars, Rebels, and The Mandalorian. Favreau is a filmmaker known for creating the Iron Man film franchise.
